Lovely phone conversation this afternoon. I love Robo-Calls from "Google". For those of you that don't know, Google will not call your business up and just share their secrets with you.. So the phone call goes like this. Robo-Call "Hi! Did you know your business is not listed with Google" "Please press 1 to confirm your business with Google." (I love this part.) It goes on to say that your business (yes, they don't know the name of your business it just your business). Your business can not be found on Google and how they can help you get to first place rankings on Google. Wait a minute. I thought this WAS Google? (joking) I better listen to more of what the wise Robo-Call is going to tell me to make Millions of Dollars! Keep waiting for the REAL person to answer the call. "Hi I'm Joe and whom an I speaking with today." "Well Joe you called me so you should know, While your at it, Joe tell me the name of my business" at this point apparently Joe sees the business that the Robo-Caller has called. "Ah, you do SEO Services." Joe says. "Yes I do." I tell him. "I'll take your name off our call list." He says. "Yes you will." I say. "Goodbye." I love it when the other guys have a Robo to do there work for them. It's like calling a bank to sell them financial services.

Point of the story.

1. Know your customers.
2. Don't misrepresent yourself.
3. Always either do it yourself or have someone you trust do it.
4. Give your Customers the personal touch. People like that!
